Seven Operalia Laureates at the Aix-en-Provence Festival

Operalia Laureates Stéphane Degout ‘2002, Duke Kim ‘2022, John Osborn ‘1996, Kathleen O’Mara ‘2024,  Jusung Gabriel Park ‘2021, Nina Stemme ‘1993 and Sonya Yoncheva ‘2010 were featured at the 2026 edition of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence

Nina Stemme starred as the Nurse in Die Frau ohne Schatten; John Osborn and Jusung Park performed as Henri and Robert in Les vêpres siciliennes; Duke Kim appeared in Mozart’s Requiem; Sonya Yoncheva made her Festival debut in concert with Cappella Mediterranea and Leonardo García-Alarcón; Stéphane Degout appeared in concert with Ensemble Pygmalion and Raphaël Pichon; and Kathleen O’Mara, one of the 2026 Voice Residency artists, performed in the programme’s closing concerts
